The Garden Show at Stansted Park 2010

If you are looking for a great day out this weekend and are around the south coast, we can thoroughly recommend a visit to The Garden Show at Stansted Park. Located near Rowlands Castle, Hampshire. Running from Friday 11th June until Sunday 13th June, the show is open from 10am to 5pm daily.

The show began 16 years ago when Jane Sterck and Lizzie Dymock set up a garden show at Stansted Park in Hampshire to create a opportunity for start up businesses, and to showcase the work of gifted individuals. They invited local gardeners, designers and artists to exhibit; and focused on filling the gap in the market locally for good design, plants and garden products. The first show of 30 stalls has now grown into a fantastic event that now hosts over 300 exhibitors.

The show has consistently supported many charities such as Chichester based Cancerwise giving them space amongst the exhibitors.

Spend the day browsing through stunning plants, beautiful gift ideas, and treat yourself to exquisite foody treats! This year the show has included lots of entertainment for the children, and there is an inspirational sounding healing garden.

The Stansted Garden Show really is a fantastic family event which we will definitely be visiting!
