Chichester’s Real Ale & Jazz Festival is coming!!

There is only two weeks to wait until the start of the 2010 Chichester Real Ale and Jazz Festival – tickets are still available so buy yours now!!!

The Festival kicks off on Friday 2nd July with the Motown Party Night showcasing the legendary music of Detroit featuring Signed Sealed & Delivered playing the best loved Motown hits, plus and Lee ‘Memphis’ King – officially the best Elvis impersonator in the world!!!

Saturday 3rd July is the night of the Summer Beach Party featuring California style greats with Beach Boys Smile giving us a flavour of sixties surf and the Alter Eagles rockin’ out LA style.

This year’s headline act is Katie Melua,  playing on Friday 9th July. The biggest selling female artist in Europe; her first three albums have all been platinum sellers. Katie’s new album The House (produced by William Orbit)  was released on May 24th is already hugely successful, and her performance promised to be one of the best yet for the festival!!! The video above shows a recent live performance for Radio 2 – Wow!!!

The final night of the festival – and the official 30th Birthday Party of the Festival – is on Saturday 10th July, and what a night it promises to be!!! Featuring The Orchestra (former members of ELO and ELO II) I guarantee EVERYONE will be on their feet!
