White and Oak Furniture – We Need Your Input!
We are always looking for new ideas for new furniture to add to our exsiting ranges, or perhaps different versions of our current furniture.
We are currently thinking about producing our popular Manhattan Range of white bedroom furniture with an oak top… and we would like your feedback!
Manhattan Tall Chest
We are proposing to keep the seaside inspired tongue and groove detail throughout, but simply replacing the top of the units with solid oak. The oak would be tongue and grooved, but we think it would add a warming contrast to our classic white. It would provide a contemporary twist to our white furniture, but provide a fresher alternative to solid oak bedroom furniture.
What do you think? Is this something you would like to see us offer, and – more to the point – is this something you would like to see in your bedroom?

I have been looking for white New England style furniture with wooden tops, so I think this is an excellent idea!

Thank you for your comments! We have samples of the Manhattan Range with oak tops arriving within the next two weeks, so please keep an eye on our website for more information.

Please offer a choice of both tops white and oak. I am about to order dresser because it is white. An oak top could make a space too dark. White is so perfect for small spaces too for all the reasons you give in your publicity.

Thank you for your comments, we do very much agree with you that white is perfect for small spaces. In our next brochure (due out in the next 3-4 weeks) we have included some white dressers and some white dressers with oak tops, and we are looking forward to seeing how the dressers with oak tops are welcomed by our customers. Likewise with our bedroom furniture, we are giving people the choice of all white furniture, or white furniture with oak tops.
