Sandbanks is a small peninsular or spit across the mouth of Poole Harbour. This one square mile of mainly sand dune has turned into one of the most exclusive places to live in the world. As Sandbanks is a peninsular it means that there are views south to the English Channel, and north into Poole Harbour the second largest natural harbour in the world after Sidney Harbour.
There are some beautiful beach-style houses which command very high prices with a modest bungalow recently selling for over four million pounds. Harry Redknapp the manager of Tottenham Hotspur Football Club is one of Sandbanks more famous residents.
One of Sandbanks more popular hotels is The Sandbanks Hotel which is situated at the south-eastern end of the sandbanks peninsular. This hotel caters for all ages but specialises in looking after the needs of children. There are many activities for children some of which are organised by the hotel.
A lot of the houses on Sandbanks are built in the style of the beach front houses in New England and would provide the perfect setting for the white painted furniture that New England Lifestyle supply.
