West Wittering Could Be Somewhere In New England.

One of my favourite place in the world is East Head at West Wittering West Sussex. East Head forms a spit that is part of Chichester Harbour with beautiful white sand dunes and that lovely long grass that grow through the sand. Whether it is a blustery winters day or beautiful summers day it is an amazing place to visit and just walk amongst the dunes or sit quietly enjoying the sea air and wonderful views.

I used to have a boat which I kept it at Littlehampton Marina and on a good day I would make the journey by boat around Selsey Bill and on to Chichester harbour. I would anchor my boat and wade to shore with a pick nick and spend the day sun bathing or walk over the dunes.

West Wittering always reminds me of a New England place’s like Cape Cod or Martha’s Vin Yard. I feel so grateful to live in such a beautiful part of this country with so many amazing places to visit. A lot of my inspiration for New England Lifestyle and white furniture comes from places like East Head beach with the faded beach huts and weathered wood paths and breakwaters.
