Most renters cannot hang pictures or window treatments because it will put holes in the walls. Because I am an interior designer, I just can't live with bare walls or windows. My idea is to use tall narrow bookcases on either side of the window to hang the curtain rod in between. There are so many uses for bookcases other than to store books!
