New England Lifestyle’s Delivery Driver Gets on his Bike!

Many of our customers will have met Garry McGivern, a valued member of our delivery team.

Garry sadly lost his wife Josie to breast cancer in December 2007, aged only 42.

To say thank you to St Wilfrid’s Hospice for all the care and support provided to Josie and all the family, and to help them to continue to support other families, he will be raising money by cycling solo from Bilbao to Bognor.

Leaving Bognor on 18th June 2008, he will cycle to Portsmouth to catch the ferry to Bilbao, Spain. The 1000 mile journey will take him along the Atlantic Coast of France to Calais, where he will take the ferry back to Dover and ride back along the South Coast to Bognor Regis. Camping along the way he will no doubt be praying for nice weather!!!

We all wish Garry all the very best of luck on his adventures, and we have all pledged our support to him by donating what we can to his cause.
