Hi Simon
The bed is made from lime wood, and the tongue and groove panels are MDF. We use lime wood as it has few knots or resin in it, and results in a smooth finish when spray painted. We use MDF on the tongue and groove panels to prevent any problems with the wood spliting.
If you need any more information, please just ask!
Thanks, Steph

Hi Carol
Thank you for your comments, we do very much agree with you that white is perfect for small spaces. In our next brochure (due out in the next 3-4 weeks) we have included some white dressers and some white dressers with oak tops, and we are looking forward to seeing how the dressers with oak tops are welcomed by our customers. Likewise with our bedroom furniture, we are giving people the choice of all white furniture, or white furniture with oak tops.
Make sure you are one of the first to receive the new brochure by requesting one on our <a href="http://www.newenglandlifestyle.com/OrderBrochure.htm" rel="nofollow">website</a>!

Please offer a choice of both tops white and oak. I am about to order dresser because it is white. An oak top could make a space too dark. White is so perfect for small spaces too for all the reasons you give in your publicity.

Hi Lisa

At the moment the only way we know of producing the look is to lay the floor and paint it yourself... but watch this space! We are in the process of researching the possibility of producing ready to lay white painted flooring, any developments will be posted here first so please do check back regularly on contact us to find out how our latest venture is coming along!

Read your thoughts on white flooring with interest as we are trying to find a stockist of white floor boards (we are lazy so are trying to avoid the 2 prong lay flooring / paint flooring approach!). Don;t suppose you know of any do you? The lady renovating Prospect House is apparently using "whitened timber flooring" according to her website but again I can't find such a thing? Is it just my lack of google search technique? Yours hopefully, Lisa
