New England Lifestyle are introducing the Manhattan Bedroom Range in soft cream, which will give our customers even more choice.

We are also introducing the Burlington Dresser and New Hampshire Bookcase in New England Blue with white tongue and groove back panels, and the Westport Bookcase all in New England Blue.

I have just put the New England Blue Westport Bookcase in my living room amongst the white furniture and accessories and it looks great!

We are expecting the stock at the end of May; keep an eye on our website for its appearance!

Creating a New England Look to the Exterior of your House

There really is something about wooden clad houses that creates a soft organic feel, really blending into the environment so much more than brick.

If though, you feel that wood is too high maintenance, then there is a product made by Marley called Eternit Weatherboard http://www.eternit.co.uk/. This comes in several different colours, looks just like wood and can be sawn and used like wood. This comes with a 25 year guarantee; I have used it several times and even after five years it still looks great.

The use of decking and beach shingle with some nice palmy style plants really helps to give your house a New England beachy feel.
