The only way to really find out about New England Lifestyle is to listen to what our customers have to say about their experiences of buying from us and their opinions of the white furniture we have supplied.  Here are just a few of the most recent feedback we have received… for more just take a look at the Testimonials pages on our website.

A customer from Fife ordered a wardrobe and four bedsides from our Manhattan Range of white bedroom furniture. She placed her order on Tuesday 27th July, and took delivery on Wednesday 4th August – just over a week later. She emailed us to say “I received my order last Tuesday, earlier than promised, and would like to commend you on an excellent service.I have never had anything delivered so quickly and the furniture is beautiful. The delivery driver was brilliant too. we have access problems here because of parking and he was very patient.  Thanks again.”

A customer from Lancashire emailed us to say “Just wanted to let you know that I am delighted with the Burlington table; it’s perfect! I was also impressed by the great service you and your team provide – from answering enquiries to the lovely delivery man (who arrived on time, and took away all the wrapping!). Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend you.”

Ally Byrom from Guernsey ordered two small Burlington Dressers from us, and used ship2me for the delivery. We usually ship to the Channel Islands using Channel Seaways but were happy to try the alternative company Ally recommended… Ally emailed saying “Just a note to say how delighted I was with our two Burlington Dressers shipped all the way to the Channel Islands. I was slightly apprehensive about having them shipped all the way here having only seen them on the web site and in a home magazine. I need not have worried, they are perfect and look exactly as I hoped they would. Superb quality. I am a very happy customer!”

Chilli Fiesta at West Dean Gardens 6, 7 & 8 August 2010

This coming weekend sees the fantastic Chilli Fiesta at West Dean Gardens, which for the first time is open over three days from Friday to Sunday.

The very popular Chilli Fest is now in its 15th year, and the cult festival seems to become bigger and better each year. Attracting chilli addicts from all over the world, the festival showcases over 300 different chillis and sweet peppers, displayed in the wonderful greenhouses of West Dean Gardens. Visit the festival to see chillis of all shapes and sizes, including the hottest chilli in the world: Naga Jolokia, also known as Bhut Jolokia, Ghost Chilli or California Death Pepper.

Attractions include chilli cookery demonstrations, advice on growing chillis and oodles of yummy chilli based foods to taste and buy including numerous chilli sauces, jellies, salsas, chutneys, relishes, marinades, nuts and crisps. Even chilli chocolate, chilli ice cream, chilli beer and chilli fruit juices are all on sale!

Take a break in the beer and cider tents listening to salsa and lambada music, or even have a go at Salsa Dancing or Belly Dancing!!!

West Dean Gardens is situated just a 30 minute drive away from our West Sussex Showroom so why not plan a whole day out?!

Why choose White Furniture from New England Lifestyle?

Finding good quality New England Style furniture can be a challenge. Today there are numerous companies offering the “New England Range” of bedroom furniture or similar; the quality varies greatly, as do the colours and finishes.

1. Our furniture is built to last. We use a combination of Lime Wood and MDF to build the furniture, using as much wood as we possibly can. Sometimes to keep the look and quality of our furniture consistent MDF is the best material to use – for example all of our tongue and groove panels are NDF to ensure the painted surface does not split. All of our drawers are glued and screwed with MDF bottoms to ensure that they are built to last. The shelves on all of our bookcases and dresser tops are built in to ensure they are sturdy enough to take any weight you may put on them, and they will not bow.

2. We are UK White Furniture Specialists. Our furniture is white. Our paint is colour matched to Dulux Brilliant. When you order white furniture from New England Lifestyle you can be 100% sure that you are buying WHITE furniture – not ivory, not cream, not off-white, but really white. We use water based paint with a smooth satin finish. We don’t go in for shabby chic or the distressed look at all.

3. NONE of our furniture ia flat packed. You are not expected to build anything. We will book in your delivery with you in advance, advising a two hour time slot. We deliver the furniture to the room of your choice, put it in place and remove all of the packaging.

4. We pride ourselves in our customer services. If there is a problem we will do our utmost to solve it to ensure you, our customers, are happy. We do not charge re-stocking fees. We are always happy to provide help and advice.

5. Our white furniture is exclusive. It is designed by us and handmade exclusively for us. You will not find the same furniture anywhere else.
