A white interior design scheme can provide the tranquil, calm environment you need to inspire you. White interiors really do create an air of calmness; a white work space can provide a neat, luxurious haven.

Choose white office furniture such as a white desk, white bookcase and solid white chair. Paint the walls in brilliant white paint, and add light coloured floors – perhaps white painted floorboards with a soft, thick rug. Soften the bright sunlight streaming in through the windows using soft white voiles, teamed with off white curtains for when the darkness falls.

Ensure you have a beautiful vase filled with fresh flowers to warm your heart, and hang a favourite painting or photograph within eyeshot of your desk. Now sit back and let the inspiration come to you.

Home Office Storage Ideas

Everyone knows that a cluttered work space is not an inviting space to spend any time in, so when planning your home office make sure you include enough storage to house all your files and paperwork.

Office storage need not compromise on style. Our clear fronted New Hampshire Cabinet is our recommedation to hold all of your files. With three fixed shelves, each with a minimum height of 35cm, the unit provides plentiful storage. There is also a useful storage drawer below to hold smaller items – or why not add some baskets on the shelves?

It is always useful to provide a comfortable chair for visitors, or as a quiet spot to sit and read. Our Lincoln Chair (shown left in white) fits the bill perfectly.
